the location was convenient. a bus stop was just outside, and a metro station was within 200 meters. the breakfast selection was extensive. (it had a lot of options.) the staff members were friendly and professional.
the room temperature was too cold. it was uncomfortable to use my laptop at night. i learned the heating system was not yet activated for the season. the toilet was old, and the ventilation was poor. there was some damage to the tiles.

faulty air conditioningunsafe window
the air conditioning wasn't working, a real problem since the weather was warm. additionally, the window in my room lacked proper safety features. i had to open it because of the faulty air conditioning, but when the wind picked up, the window ended up damaging my selfie stick nearby. i reported it to reception, but there was no response from the manager.

the room was very clean and featured a pretty bathroom. the staff was nice. the location provided easy access to gran via, santiago bernabeu stadium, and the airport.
i wish the room was a little soundproof. you can hear everything next door such as when they turn on the shower.
